Some of my pieces are one-of-a-kind, while others are repeatable. This depends mainly on the materials used and whether the piece is based on a repeatable design or pattern.

~ New Custom Creations

For completely new designs — meaning fully custom pieces that require me to create a brand-new design from scratch — I only accept commissions that fall within my current skill level and align with my aesthetic.

When contacting me for a custom piece, please provide a clear overview of what you are looking for. IncludING details such as: MATERIALS, colors, shapes, textures, and visual references of any kind. These can be highly descriptive or just mood references,
The more detailed your description, the better I can understand your vision.
I will respond as soon as possible with a quote and estimated production timeframe.

~ Customizations of Existing Designs

I am also happy to use past designs from my collection or archive as a starting point. You can show me a piece that is currently available (or was previously made) and request customizations such as: DIFFERENT colors, types of yarn or fabric, altering shapes, adding new details, and so on.

TIMINGS

Production begins once all details have been mutually agreed upon and payment has been received.

I usually require full payment upfront, which is typically made via PayPal (other payment options may be available upon request).

If you cannot cover the full cost at once, I am happy to offer a 50% deposit upfront with the remaining 50% due once the piece is completed and before shipment.

If I have the necessary materials on hand and no backlog, production typically takes around one week. However, if I need to order materials or have other custom orders in progress, production may take up to 3 weeks.

If you have a deadline or need your piece by a specific date, please let me know in advance so I can determine whether it's feasible.

PRICING

Pricing depends on several factors, including design complexity, material cost, and time required.

Please note that IF YOU ARE ASKING FOR A CUSTOMISATION OF A PAST PIECE, the price may differ from the original. Many of my earlier headpieces - NOW IN MY ARCHIVE - were priced lower because material costs and time investment were not fully accounted for at the time.

Custom orders generally have higher pricing, as I now carefully factor in all material expenses and the hours involved in creating the piece.

Once I have a clear understanding of your request, I will provide a detailed cost breakdown and quote.
